2019 Scholarships Program

The Minnesota Masonic Charities Scholarships Program is one of the largest and most comprehensive in the state. Applications for the 2019 Scholarships Program are now accepted from December 1, 2018 to February 15, 2019.

Scholarship Award Categories

Signature Scholarships
Award: $5,000/year for up to four years or $20,000
Six (6) Signature Scholarships are provided each year to Minnesota high school students with a GPA of 3.9 or higher and an ACT score of 29 or more (or SAT score of 1350 or more). Applicants must plan to enroll in a four-year college program.

Legacy Scholarships
Award: $4,000/year for up to four years or $16,000
Ten (10) Legacy Scholarships are provided each year to Minnesota high school students with a GPA of 3.6 to 3.89 and an ACT score of 25 or more (or SAT score of 1200 or more). Applicants must plan to enroll in a four-year college program.

Heritage Scholarships
Award: $3,000/year for up to four years or $12,000
Twenty (20) Heritage Scholarships are provided each year to Minnesota high school students with a GPA of 3.0-3.59 and an ACT score of 21 or more (or SAT score of 1060 or more). Applicants must plan to enroll in a four-year college program.

Undergraduate Scholarships
Award: $2,500/year for up to three years or $7,500
Twenty-five (25) Undergraduate Scholarships are provided each year to current college freshman, sophomores or juniors who graduated from a Minnesota high school and have a GPA of 3.0 or above. Applicants must be enrolled in a four-year college program.

Community College/Two-year Scholarships
Award: $1,500/year for up to two years or $3,000
Ten (10) Community College/Two-year  Scholarships are provided each year to individuals who have graduated from a Minnesota high school, have a GPA of 2.75 or higher and are enrolled in, or planning to enroll in, a two-year higher education program.

Vocational/Technical Scholarships
Award: $1,500/year for up to two years or $3,000
Ten (10) Vocational/Technical Scholarships will be awarded each year to individuals who are Minnesota residents and are interested in completing a vocational/technical degree or coursework.

Fraternal Scholarships
Minnesota Masonic Charities also offers Fraternal Scholarships to Masons and Stars seeking continuing education opportunities and are Members-in-good-standing of a Minnesota Masonic Lodge or OES Chapter only. Masons and Stars, click here to find out more.

Renew your Masonic Scholarship

Recipients of Minnesota Masonic Charities scholarships are asked to renew their awards each year and sent instructions on how to do so. If you are a renewing scholarship recipient, you may renew your scholarship online in late spring. Please check back here for more information.
